CBD extract process

CBD extract process

Christopher12/02/20190
Regarding our CBD processes at UK CBD Oils, we use only certified strains of (Cannabis Sativa L), approved by the European Union, which is sustainably grown and harvested in the EU, without the use of any pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, GMOs or other chemicals. Our first stage extraction is a very gentle supercritical CO2 extraction which produces the raw extract which you can find in the syringes that we sell.  We then winterised the raw extract, using another very gentle processes of freezing and filtration to remove the naturally occurring plant wax, to give the extract a liquid consistency which is required for the oil droppers. Both the raw paste and winterised oil is raw full spectrum, as close to the natural plant as possible....

What is the best way to take CBD?

What is the best way to take CBD?

Christopher16/12/20180
What is the best way to take CBD?  You can take CBD oil by swallowing it, by absorption through the mucous membranes in your mouth, by inhaling it or by absorption through your skin. For many people, the most convenient method will be in capsules just like vitamin or mineral supplements. A better way is to put a few drops under your tongue and hold it there for as long as you can so that at least some of it will be absorbed through your mucous membranes directly into your bloodstream. Inhaling CBD by vaporising is a very efficient method of ingestion. CBD balms can be rubbed into the skin and absorbed directly into the small capillary blood vessels  The sublingual method is considered by many to be one of the best ways to dispense CBD oil. ...

How Does CBD Work?

How Does CBD Work?

Christopher27/08/20180
CBD is one of over 100 compounds known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. These substances act on our 'Endocannabinoid system', part of the nervous system that helps regulate various processes, including our Sleep cycle, Appetite, Pain sensation, Mood and Memory. Cannabinoids like CBD and THC bind to receptors throughout the body and brain sometimes activating and sometimes suppressing or blocking them. Research shows that CBD has appetite-suppressing properties, unlike the famous cannabis-induced 'munchies', as well as Anti Anxiety and Anti-Psychotic properties, as opposed to the paranoia and psychosis induced by high doses of THC. it's these properties that have led to people CBD oil to try to alleviate problems such as Insomnia...

Cannabis Oil Is All Over The News

Cannabis Oil Is All Over The News

Christopher31/07/20180
Everybody seems to be talking about cannabis oil. Almost every day there’s a new story about children with epilepsy or changes in the law. What does it all mean and how does CBD oil fit into all of this?  It’s true, cannabis oil is big news but it’s important to understand that there are different types. Some types are illegal and some types are now being prescribed as medicine. All UK-CBDOils products are legal but they are not medicines, they are food supplements. They are not intended to prevent, treat or cure any disease but they can be useful in maintaining good health. Think of them as you think about taking vitamins. They’re not going to deal with any particular illness you might have but they will help you to stay generally healthy ...

Benefits of using full spectrum CBD

Benefits of using full spectrum CBD

Christopher28/05/20180
CBD oil can help with your health and wellbeing because of the way it nourishes your endocannabinoid system (ECS). Vital to its effectiveness is the full range of compounds present in the low-THC cannabis plants from which it is extracted. This is why it is vital always to choose full spectrum CBD oil rather than isolates or purified CBD.  All UK-CBDOils products contain full spectrum oils. The ECS consist of receptors, endocannabinoids and enzymes.  The enzymes are responsible for the production of endocannabinoids which are tiny quantities of an oily substance that attach to the receptors or affect the way in which the receptors behave. Enzymes are then also involved in the way endocannabinoids decay and disperse.  Endocannabinoids are ca...

why we started UK CBDOILS

why we started UK CBDOILS

Christopher07/05/20180
When we started UK-CBDOils our ambition was to produce the highest quality CBD products which we knew we could sell with confidence in their ability to help improve and maintain health. It all starts with our farmers who cultivate hemp under strict conditions to ensure it complies with organic standards. No pesticides, artificial fertilisers or other chemicals are used. The quality of the end crop is down to skill, care and experience and we have selected a team of farmers in various parts of Europe that meet our uncompromising standards. The hemp is grown under licence and is fully compliant with the law. The strains used are selected from the EU’s common catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species. These have been thoroughly test...

What You Need To Know About Sublingual

What You Need To Know About Sublingual

Christopher03/05/20180
Sublingual dosing means that you are administering the supplement through the tissue beneath the tongue. Through this method of administration, the cannabinoids immediately enter the bloodstream because the sublingual cavity is filled with vessel-rich tissues. The sublingual application delivers the effects of cannabis in as little as 60 seconds up to 2 minutes. (UK-CBDOILS Recommend that you keep the oil under the tongue approx 90sec)A sublingual application is considered a better choice compared to ingestion for many because of the decreased bioavailability in the digestive tract. While with edibles only lets you absorb around 20% of the cannabinoids, and these have to first be processed by the liver before they make it to the bloodstrea...

CBD RAW Explained

CBD RAW Explained

Christopher22/04/20180
CBD RAW OIL The CBD RAW oil is created by CO2 extraction. This is a process that does not use solvents or heat. This method is used not only in getting CBD, but is used to extract all the necessary substances from plant material, e.g. like the oil is extracted from plants and seeds. CO2 extraction is a commonly used method of obtaining the CBD from the plant.A major advantage of the Co2 extraction is that there is no heating of the oil or components, thus enzymes and vitamins that are sensitive to heat are not lost. All ingredients of the plant are kept. This includes not only CBD in the CBD RAW Oil, but also other cannabinoids, such as CBD-A, CBC, CBN, CBV and CBG. In addition, the terpenes, pigments and phenols are also retained which con...

How to tell if you have pure CBD Oil

How to tell if you have pure CBD Oil

Christopher22/03/20180
Unlike with prescription drugs, there is no overarching set of guidelines regarding the composition or purity of CBD oils. It can make it a bit challenging to determine which products are high-quality, pure oils.  Purity is not always as easy to measure as you might think. Many products on the market claim to contain pure CBD oil, while others provide labels that say things like “99% pure.” In an industry in which the idea of “purity” has no set definition, it can be hard to know what the label is telling you.  However, there are a few things you can take into consideration to get an idea of the product’s real purity:  Suspension vs Extract: When looking at CBD oils, take a look at their exact formulation. Is it an extract, or an extract pl...
